Another awesome day shooting target, field and clout! Forgot my quiver and all that usually comes with it (tab, arrow puller, pens, tassel, knife, pouch…) but luckily Michelle and Mark came to the rescue! My flatmate Nikki was Lady P and both Craig and Gav got to show off their new ’3D Appreciation Society’ T-Shirts [...]

2011 marked my third full year of archery and competitions ranging from target and clout, to wand and field! I will try to chronicle my favourite bits of the year with as many pictures as possible! January: Westcott Indoors Always a fab shoot and always a pleasure! Great way to start the new archery season [...]

This weekend will be my second go at the BBCs (http://www.archerygb.org/members/tournaments/entryforms/barebow_championships.php) I had an awful shoot last year and didn’t even make it to 400! My handicap suggests that I should be shooting around 420. Never-the-less I managed to come 19th in Britain and 49th in the World but I really hope to do better! [...]

The weekend just gone saw my only visit to Belvedere this year (their other shoots have clashed with many dancing events). In fact, [...]

Votes please! Can’t decide? I’ve lost my Barebow form, and always have so much fun shooting primitive (although I don’t shoot it that well) Plus I never really gave AFB a chance either? Hmmm just wondered what you guys think… Sam x

This was my first NFAS shoot here (I did shoot here for the PAAS Primitive Weekend tho…). This ground does not allow carbon arrows so I thought it was a great excuse to use my primitive bow again as I will be shooting mainly barebow from now until the Nationals in September. As Owen shoots [...]

This weekend coming will be my second SWC!!! I really can’t wait. Key facts: 4 x two-day shoots 4 hosting clubs 4 locations across the South West of England 9 days in a tent!!! If you’re a wooden arrow archer and have never been to Jungle Jim’s – WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? This was my second trip to JJJ – last year was such good fun that I really couldn’t resist! The majority of archers who compete shoot mainly wooden arrows (it used to be a wooden arrow only [...]
